‘Rosneft’ founds subsidiary in Ingushetia

‘Rosneft’, the major Russian state oil company, has created a subsidiary in Ingushetia, RIA Novosti reports.
The company purchased a 100% share of the Ingush ‘RN-Ingushnefteproduct’ company.
‘Rosneft’, an integrated oil company owned by the Russian government, was established in 1993 as a unitary enterprise on the basis of assets previously held by Rosneftegaz, the successor to the Soviet Union's Ministry of Oil and Gas. It became Russia's leading extraction and refining company after purchasing assets of former oil giant Yukos at state-run auctions.
‘Ingushnefteproduct’ was founded in 2001. It has a licence to prospect in the Malgobekh and Karabulakh fields.
