Azerbaijanis to be able to receive pensions abroad

An amendment aimed at simplifying the procedure for obtaining  pension by nationals residing abroad has been approved in Azerbaijan, the chairman of the State Fund for Social Protection, Elman Mehdiyev said.

Previously, in order to receive pensions Azerbaijanis had to provide their documents and a statement to a local branch of the State Fund, which for obvious reasons, was difficult for those living abroad.
