The construction of the ‘Tuapse-Adler’ railroad is being undertaken in the framework of the Sochi Olympics preparation program. In seven months the ‘Russian Railways’ company has allocated more than 220 million rubles to the project, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the official media-service of the company.
The construction of this railroad branch should considerably increase the amount of passengers and cargo transported by the North Caucasian department of Russian Railways already by next year.
