During his tour of the Far East, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged Japanese businessmen to invest more actively in the Turkish economy. Erdogan talked about the rapid growth of the Turkish economy and said that his country aims at becoming one of the top 10 developed countries.
Among the possible projects that could attract investment from Japan, the Prime Minister mentioned the construction of a new bridge over the Dardanelles.
The tender on the construction of the new bridge is scheduled for 2015.
