No cold will damage crops in Caucasus - expert

Roman Wilfand, Head of the Hydrometeorological Center, told Vestnik Kavkaza that the cold this year will not damage the winter crops. Temperature in the Caucasus increased by 7-10 degrees C.There was no drop of temperature common for November and December. It will not drop to -25 degrees C either. Winter crops only start freezing if the temperature drops to -14 degrees C at a depth of 3cm.
