The unemployment rate in Georgia is falling, Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri said today
"Despite the slowdown in economic growth in 2013, with the beginning of that year, including the third quarter, about 30,000 jobs were created in the business sector, and the unemployment rate has fallen," the minister is quoted by Trend.
The minister stresses that "all the talk about the growth of unemployment in Georgia is irresponsible."
"The International Monetary Fund had a similar outlook, but later it was changed because it was considered that the methodology was not perfect for these kind of prognoses," Khaduri said, commenting on the prognoses of the Center for Research of Georgian Economic Policy.
