Azerbaijan stopped pumping gas to Russia at 10.00 am on January 13, Prime reports.
Azerbaijan was pumping 3 million cubic meters of gas a day, making a total of 1.37 billion cubic meters.
Gazprom and the SOCAR signed a deal on purchase of Azerbaijani gas in October 2009. The gas-pumping started on January 1, 2010.
