Georgia’s Airzena to make flights to Sochi

Georgia’s Airzena will start making charter flights from Tbilisi to Sochi on February 4, for the first time since 2008. The flights will be made on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Business Georgia reports.They will continue until May and may be extended throughout the summer, depending on ticket demand.The flights were requested by the Georgian National Olympic Committee. Thousands of residents in Georgia and the Krasnodar Territory of Russia had asked for Tbilisi-Sochi flights many times before.The Tbilisi-Sochi-Tbilisi flights will be made using CRJ (capacity of about 90 passengers). Departure from Tbilisi will happen at 10.00 am and the flight back at 12.00 pm. The flight will take an hour.
