SOCAR to enhance presence on Romanian market

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has bought a 10 percent share in SOCAR Petroleum SA, formely owned by Romanian partners. The company now owns 100 per cent of the SOCAR Petroleum SA stocks.

According to the head of the SOCAR office in Romania, Khamza Karimov, the move is part of the company's strategy to enhance its presence on the Romanian market.
