South Korean investors plan to increase production at the Chechenavto factory from 50,000 to 75,000 cars a year. A new manufacturing room will be built, giving 2,000 more people jobs, SKFO.ru reports.
Officials of Day International and Chechenavto studied the project together, observing the manufacturing process. The South Korean company commented on the Lada Priora made at the facility. The companies are developing a new brand, a light truck, for construction at Chechenavto.
