LUKOIL plans to sign a deal on a strategic partnership with Gazprom by late March 2014, Vedomosti reports.
The two companies are cooperating according to a deal signed in 2005 for 5-10 years. The cooperate in development of fields in the Nenetsky Autonomous District, Caspian Sea, Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District, Uzbekistan and other regions.
LUKOIL is extracting gas only in the Nakhodkinsoye Field of the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District. It will launch the Pyakyakhinskoye, Yuzhno-Messoyakhskoye and Khalmerpayutinskoye Fields in five years.
