Kazakhstan to extend oil extraction at large fields

Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Ahmetov said at the board of the Oil and Gas Ministry on Monday that contracts for exploitation of large oil fields could be extended, Trend reports.

Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbay Karabalin noted that extraction of oil and gas condensate ad grown to 81.8 million tons in 2013 and 14.296 million tons of oil had been processed at three refineries.

Kazakhstan plans to export 72.077 million tons of oil and gas condensate. Capacity of the Atasu-Alashankou Pipeline reached 20 million tons in 2013.
