Dagestani ex-Vice Prime Minister Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov has been charged with a high-scale fraud, Argumenty i Fakty reports.
According to investigators Nasrutdinov used his authority to organize a deal of Dagestanregiongaz and Daggaz. Nasrutdinov was a shareholder of the latter. The company purchased gas networks in 9 districts of Dagestan for 58 million rubles, while the real price of the property totaled at least 197.73 million rubles.
Nasrutdinov offered Gazprom to buy the gas networks back for 5 million rubles in 2013. The offer was reported to be the motive for investigations.
The Lefortovsky Court of Moscow ordered arrest of ex-Vice Prime Minister Nasrutdinov on January 21.
