Iranian Energy Ministry owes $6 billion

 

The Iranian Energy Ministry owes banks and individuals a total of $6 billion (180 trillion rials), said Khomaen Khayeri, Managing Director of the Iranian Company for Distribution of Electricity.Almahdi, a private company, owes the Energy Ministry $100 million.Iran is in need of 5 billion liters of fuel to produce 5GW/h of electricity.
