Russian Central Bank wants to make Dagestan’s Imbank bankrupt

The Central Bank nullified the license of Imbank on January 20. Its assets are 815th in the list of Russian banks. According to data on December 1, 2013, the bank had 558.91 million rubles of assets. The Central Bank filed a note to the Arbitrary Court of Dagestan to recognize Imbank bankrupt.

The license was nullified for failures to comply with federal laws on banking, for giving false information and for suspicious operations.

According to the Agency for Deposit Insurances, Imbank may pay about 1,800 of its clients 174.8 million rubles. Rosselkhozbank will receive claims for compensations for Imbank deposits.
