Iraqi Vice Prime Minister Hussain al-Shahristani said that the Iraqi Kurdistan agreed to put oil exports to Turkey under federal control via the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), RIA Novosti reports.
The SOMO is the only company authorized to export Iraqi oil, according to al-Shahristani. He added that agreements between the central government and authorities of the autonomy were a big step forward.
