The Peace Pipeline to transport Iranian gas to Pakistan will be completed after the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions, Pakistani Minister for Oil and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said today, Iran.ru reports.
He reminded that the pipeline construction contract had been signed five years ago but no progress to realize the project had been made in Pakistan. No company wants to build the pipeline.
Abbasi clarified that the construction problem was caused by anti-Iranian sanctions. The project will be accomplished in 30-36 months after the lifting of sanctions.
