Azerbaijani sold military products worth 96 million manats ($123,077,000) in 2013, exceeding the export volumes in 2012 5.4-fold, APA reports.
Azerbaijan exports over 900 types of military products. The Defense Ministry produced and shipped products worth 121.2 million manats last year and repaired equipment for aaround1.5 million manats.
Azerbaijan plans to manufacture mortars and sniper rifles, tracks for armored vehicles, binoculars, optics for sniper rifles, mortar parts, training and combat parts of grenade launchers, mine detectors capable of detecting mines 2.5m deep and patrol cars this year.
