Iran and Oman to build underwater gas pipeline

Oil and Gas Minister of Oman Mohammad Alramahi said that a deal was signed with Iran during President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to build an underwater pipeline to import gas from Iran, Trend reports.

The project is worth $721 million and will be accomplished by 2017.

Alramahi emphasized that both sides of the contract will start technical and feasibility studies of the project.
