Asian Development Bank grants Armenia $100 million for North-South Corridor

Armenian Minister for Finances David Sargsyan and Asian Development Bank representative David Dol signed a deal under which the Bank grants Armenia $100 million for the accomplishment of the third phase of the North-South Transportation Corridor investment program, 1in.amreports.The program focuses on the construction of an efficient and safe transportation corridor connecting Armenia and other countries.The third tranche of the deal includes development and realization of a long-term road sub-sector program and an administrative system to manage transportation assets, preparations of feasibility studies of the Artashat-Kajaran section (304km), assistance in realization of the program and preparations of the next tranche.
