German ex-Chancellor Gerhardt Schroeder said at the Azerbaijani-German Trade Chamber that Azerbaijani-German trade turnover exceeded over 2 billion euro, 1news.az reports.
Azerbaijan was the largest CIS trade partner for Germany in 2013 (3.1 billion euro). Azerbaijan is the seventh largest oil supplier of Germany.
He noted that the German ethnic minority living in Baku since the early 20th century was present in the 1918 parliament of the country.
Over 200 foreign politicians and businessmen attended the lecture of Schroeder in Baku.
