Ankara launches Kızılay-Çayyolu metro line

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has opened the Kızılay-Çayyolu metro line.

Construction of the line started in February 2012. It is 16.5km long and consists of 11 stations.

Ankara opened the Batıkent-Sincan line (15.5km, 11 stations) on February 13.

Ankara launched the metro in 1996. It is 60.4km long and consists of 24 stations.
