Georgia’s Energo-Invest will build a dam on River Avaniskhevi (Khakheti, Eastern Georgia) with an output of 4.6MW, News Georgia reports.
The company won the Energy Ministry’s tender announced in December 2013.
The Avani Dam will produce 18.63 million KW/h every year. About $7.8 million may be invested in the project. The dam will be launched 2 years after the company receives construction permit.
