Afghan Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Osmani is on a visit to Azerbaijan, where he emphasized the importance of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Pipeline (TAPI), Trend reports.
He noted that the pipeline would supply Afghanistan with gas and bring income from its transportation.
Osmani said that he had met Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berimuhamedov and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and discuss trade-economic cooperation. He added that negotiations about the pipeline had been concluded and evaluation of project costs evaluated.
