The Consultative Council for Collaboration with Subjects of Foreign Economic Activities has held its first session at the Dagestani Customs Office this year. Attendees of the talks discussed custom technologies and realization of the concept for custom processing and control, Yuga.ru reports.
The Council consists of the Dagestani Ministry for Trade, Investments and Business, the Trade and Industry Chamber, private business, initiators of large investment projects and freighting companies.
Tagir Bektagirov, head of the section for custom procedures and custom control, presented a report on custom technologies, electronic registries and information.
Igor Gorelov, head of the organizing and analytical section of the Customs Office, made a report about realization of the Concept for Custom Formalization and Custom Control in Dagestan. He said that the Viaduk Customs Office under construction on the M-29 Highway in the Magaramkentsky District was almost accomplished. Like all similar terminals, it will have a hotel, canteen, petroleum station and a shop. Such terminals are built by private investors. Launch of the complexes reduces traffic intensity in the direction of Makhachkala and Derbent.
