In Samegrelo, Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili has proposed the transformation of Anaklia into a major port. He noted that a Japanese engineering company was studying the Anaklia project, Business Georgia reports.
The PM emphasized that development of the coastal line near Abkhazia was especially significant. He added that the Partner Fund studied the construction of a railway on the territory of Anaklia and was holding negotiations with international financial and consulting companies.
