Akihiko Tanaka, president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), urged Masume Ebtekar, head of the Organization for Environmental Protection of Iran, to expand cooperation with Japan in protection of environment.
Ebtekar is on a visit to Tokyo. She emphasized that countries should use advanced experience in protecting the environment. Iran and Japan plan to sign a memorandum of understanding to protect the ecology. Japan is realizing a set of ecological projects in Iran.
