Azerbaijan will release the Vatan-1 dry-cargo ship of Russia from the Baku Port next week, said Ekhtiram Ragimov, deputy head of the State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The ship was carrying cement from Russia to Azerbaijan. According to Ragimov, VTS-Trans owning the ship, has already paid its debt to Azerbaijan. It promised to pay the crew on April 14. Six Ukrainians working on the ship will leave their jobs as soon as they get their salaries.The ship’s engine is being fixed and the ship will leave the port after receiving documents of the Russian Maritime Registry.
