Income from privatization increased by 25.3% and exceeded $28 billion last year. 18 companies were offered for privatization last year. Over 100 investors from 20 countries took part in the privatization process.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that the country had higher privatization rate than all EU countries.
