The Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, met today with a delegation headed by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergey Morozov.
At the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev said that Azerbaijan attached special importance to the expansion of ties with Russia, including its federal subjects.
To date more than 30 documents in the economic sphere and more than 160 documents altogether have been signed between Azerbaijan and Russia.
The Minister noted that currently more than 570 companies operate in Azerbaijan with Russian money. Azerbaijani companies also successfully operate in different regions of Russia.
The governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergei Morozov, said that Russia and Azerbaijan have a strategic partnership.
