The first stage of the modernization of the Ukrainian gas transportation system will require $3-4 billion of investment, the Minister for the Energy and Coal Industry Yuri Prodan said today, RIA Novosti reports.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk said yesterday that Ukraine was ready to exploit and modernize the gas transportation system together with Europe and the U.S. The EU offered Ukraine to help modernize the system.
