Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the Kazvin-Resht-Enzeli-Astara railway will benefit the whole region, 1in.am reports.
The railway will connect Iran and Azerbaijan and then Russia and Georgia.
Rouhani told Georgian Ambassador to Iran Iosif Chakhvashvili that Iran was ready to expand cooperation with Georgia in all fields, especially economic ties.
