Kazakh Minister for Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dosayev said that renewal of oil extraction at the Kashagan Field in the Caspian Sea will start in late 2015 or 2016, ITAR-TASS reports.
About 200km of oil pipelines need to be replaced.
A member of the Total board of directors Yves Louis Darricarrere said last week that extraction will restart in 2015.
