Russia, Ukraine and the EU were planning to discuss the gas issues in Warsaw on May 2, spokeswoman of the Russian Energy Ministry Olga Golant said yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and European Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger had a telephone conversation and agreed to attend a trilateral meeting. The spokeswoman added that Ukraine was yet to confirm readiness to attend the talks.
