The first Caucasus forum for renewable energy sources has opened in
Baku, APA reports. The main topics are yhe legislature of the
Caucasian region on renewable energy sources, the financing of such
projects, the climate conditions of Caucasus, eco-business and the
transfer of ecological technology.
EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rolan Kobia opened the forum. He noted the
importance of developing the renewable energy sphere in the context of
economic diversification and the fight against climate change.
The goal of the forum is the further development of ecological
technology and the speeding up of renewable energy sources. The forum
will last for 2 days and is planned to become an annual event.
