Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) press service’s head Nadir Azmammadov says that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project will be one of the topics at the summit in Tbilisi, abc.az reports.
Tbilisi Summit 2014 will open on 6 May and will be attended by the presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. The main theme of discussion is the results of cooperation between the three countries over the last 20 years in the fields of economy, trade, transport and energy. The delegations of the three countries will discuss the implementation of current and planned projects. Bilateral and trilateral presidential meetings are planned during the summit.
Commissioning of rail project Baku-Tbilisi-Kars is scheduled for 2015.
