Russia restores water supply to Crimea

The water supply problem has been partially solved in Crimea by redirecting water from the Crimean Biuk-Karasu River to the North Crimean Canal, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia reports.

 

"The construction of additional hydraulic structures for the transfer of water from the Biuk-Karasu River to the North Crimean Canal is completed," RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Sergey Donskoy. He also said that the project cost was 5.5 million rubles.
