Stavropol Territory hosts exhibition of goats and sheep

The traditional exhibition of sheep and goats started at Mikhaylovka on Stavropol Territory Day. 22 animal farms presented 9 breeds of sheep and 1 breed of goats, Yuga.ru reports.The Lenin Collective Farm from the Apanasenkovsky District was named the best among the farms present. The collective farm was awarded a Hunter car. Two other farms received 80,000 and 50,000 rubles for the 2nd and 3rd positions in the list respectively.A new breed of sheep, Jalgin merinos, has recently been registered in the region. Stavropol acting Governor Vladimir Vladimirov highlighted it as an achievement of local farmers.
