Iran and China are going to launch joint production of automobiles. The corresponding agreement was signed today by Iran's SAIPA and the Chinese company Changan.
According to Golam Reza Shafei, the head of Iran's Organization of Industrial Development, the agreement will allow Iran to produce 3 million cars per year within the next 10 years.
