China denies information about plans to build a bridge from Russia to Crimea over the Kerch Strait. Initially, China International Fund Ltd (CIF) named a company financing the construction and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) a company taking part in the construction process, Neftegaz.ru reports.
There have been no agreements to hire China for the project among the 47 documents signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his recent visit to China.
Engineers will conclude studies on land and sea by June 1. The bridge will cost 155 billion rubles ($4.4 billion).
