All mines will be shut down near the town of Soma in the Turkish province of Manisa, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Taner Yildiz, says.
He also feels sorry that such measures will negatively influence the country’s economy, Trend reports.
An accident in one of mines in the region led to the deaths of 301 miners on May 13th.
