Iran has launched production of growth hormone, making the country the world's fifth producer of the hormone in the world. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani opened the facility of Daroupakhsh producing the hormone, Trend reports.
Daroupakhsh Managing Director Naser Nagdi said that the project will have an income of about $300 million a year.
The growth hormine stimulates growth of children and teenagers, muscles and bones. It helps control the sugar level in blood, fat exchange and other metabolic functions in the body.
