Batumi has held a 'Fish festival' organized by the Georgian Ministry
of Ecology. The Minister of Ecology Goga Khachidze and premier of
Adzharia Levan Varshalomidze were at the festival, Georgia Online
reports.
A fishing tour was held with participation of representatives of
diplomatic missions and organizations.
The second part of the festival was held in a village. Cooks invited
from Adzharia, Tbilisi and Turkey cooked fish according to traditions
of different countries.
The festival was dedicated to the 'International Year of Bio-variety'
and was aimed at popularizing fish and cooking tourism in Georgia.
