Rovnag Abdullayev, the head of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), said today that 360 million tons of oil and 96 billion cubic meters of gas had been extracted at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Field (ACG), Trend reports.
In his words, 34-35 million tons of oil can be extracted at the field every year.
The 30-year contract for extraction of oil on ACG was signed in 1994. It has a billion tons of oil for extraction.
