The recently-discovered Umid and Absheron gas deposits in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea open up great opportunities, Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Khashbakht Yusifzade says.
The SOCAR officer adds that such deposits as Babek, Nakhchyvan, Vafar, Mashal, Aksiman and Shafag are also very promising, 1news.az reports.
