A financial agreement on the Star Refinery project on the Aliaga Peninsula in the province of Izmir was signed today in Istanbul.
The signing ceremony was opened by the President of SOCAR Turkey Energy, Kenan Yavuz. In his speech he talked about large-scale investments of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in the Turkish economy.
In his turn, SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev stressed the expansion of friendly relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
