A group of Rosselkhoznadzor experts will have to postpone their visit to Georgia, originally scheduled for June 15, due to a landslide which took place at the Verkhny Lars checkpoint and interrupted traffic in the area, according to the head of the department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, Giga Kurdovanidze.
"Restrictions on the export of Georgian vegetables, fruits and berries have already been lifted, the Russian market is open, but so far we have not been able to deliver anything due to problems in the Dariali Gorge. Once the road in the direction of North Ossetia is open, Rosselkhoznadzor will arrive," Georgia-News quotes him as saying.
