The Audit Chamber of the Russian Federation has estimated the cost of the work on design of the stadiums under construction for the World Cup in 2018.A reasonable cost of the design of 7 stadiums was estimated at 2.73 billion rubles, instead of the 5.82 billion rubles recorded by state contracts from 2012-2013.On separate facilities the estimate was 3-4 times higher.The Audit Chamber assessed the efficiency of the expenditure of budget money on the designs of stadiums in Kaliningrad, Samara, Saransk, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
