Some 42 billion cubic metres of gas have been discovered at the Mtsare Khevi deposit in Georgia by the US oil and gas company Frontera Resources, Interfax cites the company's president Steve Nicandros as saying.
According to him, this means that in future the country will no longer have to import gas, the news agency informs.
