Aeroflot and UTair refuse to open regular flights to Georgia

 

Russian airline companies Aeroflot and UTair have refused to start regular flights to Georgia, News Georgia reports.The Russian Federal Aviation Agency said that it would give permission for Moscow-Tbilisi flights only on condition of receiving a similar permission from the Georgian Foreign Ministry. The Georgian ministry stated on June 11 that it was not engaged in such negotiations.Aeroflot and UTair were planning to make 7 Moscow-Tbilisi flights a week. Russia is only making charter flights to Georgia at the moment.
